A sole shoe
Upturned in rush hour
Was it’s owner running?
Frightened ?
Hurried?
Does she sit now
On her way to upminster
One shoe’d
Avoiding the gaze
Of shoo’d souls
Praying her feet don’t smell
Wondering about rain and broken Bottles.

Haha what a brilliant response =]
I love them both.
LOL yeah I thought so! we can get a poetry conversation going!
The remaining shoe is lonely
still attached to a foot
but without its partner.
Too tightly secured to escape,
the shoe groans with frustration.
The owner notices the noise,
looks down, see one foot shoeless.
In embarrassment, she limps out
at the next station.
Where can she hide?
